BOĞAZIÇI UNIVERSITY

Boğaziçi University is a public university in Istanbul, Turkey. Boğaziçi is located on the European banks of the famous Bosphorus strait. It was founded in 1863.

ACADEMIC

Academic sessions are led by prominent leaders who study inequality and urban transformation in Turkey.

CULTURAL

Activities in years past have included visits to religious and historical sites like Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, and the Blue Mosque, strolls along the Bosphorus, city views from the Sapphire Terrace, walking tours of the Galata and Bebek neighborhoods, and scavenger hunts around the city.

SOCIAL

Social events include going to a Turkish bath house, learning Turkish traditional dance, and shopping at the city's various bazaars.
